This article will focus on the techniques used to take a scrawny teenager and change his physic into one of the most envied in Hollywood. The drastic transformation required between Twilight 1 and 2 called for him to be in the gym practically every day. The ladies want him; the men want to have his 8-pack. What seemed to happen over night was a lot of hard work and grunt time.
First off Taylor Lautner is a world-class athlete. He had been winning Karate Championships long before he came to be in the movies. That and the genetics that he was born with gave him an excellent platform to jump from. In his natural state he already had great form and definition. His youth also made a lot of difference. At that age the muscles are a lot more receptive to that type of training and the hormone levels needed to produce great results. And though by no means a slap in the face to this young man but he did have all the time he needed to devote to this one pursuit. For him going to the gym was a part of going to the job.
The program that was developed for Taylor Lautner had a great diet component. Jordan Yuam, Taylor's trainer devised a diet that allowed him to consume a huge amount of calories. This was program required that the person eat every few hours to stave any signs of hunger. For Taylor that was the hardest part. Forcing himself to eat made the experience less than ideal. This was done because young active people generally have a more active metabolism and to keep him from burning away the calories before the muscles could utilize them he had to give that metabolism something to work with. Especially young people who already have a low ratio of body fat. In older adults the focus may not need to be as intensive in regard to a high calorie diet. It may lead to an excess of fat gain for most other people.
One of the most useful techniques in his program was the use of tension bands in conjunction with his free weights. The tension made the weight lifting more effective because it caused more of the muscles in the group to rise to the occasion. Keeping tension throughout the complete movement was key to engaging all of the muscles for an even burn.
The more fibers engaged the more potential growth there will be.
He leapt his abdominal workout low, only three times a week. Letting them rest more than any other group of muscles. It seemed to have worked. Recovery is a very important part of muscle growth. Since the core muscles are engaged in all aspects of your training allowing more rest time for them is essential.
Taylor Lautner had remarkable results in a short period of time. You can get the results but it will most likely take a bit longer. Get your routine, diet plan and schedule together and start you journey using the techniques you learned today.
